Accounts Payable Assistant – Fulltime, Mon. – Fri.

TTG Utilities, Inc. located in Gatesville, is taking applications for an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant. The position provides financial, administrative, and clerical support to the accounts payable department which includes processing incoming invoices as well as verification and follow-up of invoices and tickets. Will reconcile vendor statements and enter invoices int data software program. Assists with check run duties and will daily scan and file paid invoices. The job requires the ability to meet deadlines, to problem solve, and will have analytical skills.

Position is responsible for organizing and maintaining accounts payable files and for the confidential nature of the files. Will assist with vendor emails and tax certification requests. Will provide back-up to the receptionist when needed.

Must have EXCEL experience and the ability to learn and use new software. Attendance and punctuality is a must. The person must be detail oriented and organized, be a self-starter, be able to multi-task, have analytical skills, and to be a team player. Will have good telephone etiquette, a professional demeanor, and possess strong written and oral skills,
